ASER PARTNERS

Every year since 2005, the ASER survey has been conducted in all rural districts of India. The survey tools and procedures are designed by ASER Centre, but partner organizations in each district are responsible for actually conducting the survey and disseminating its results.

To date, well over 2,000 organizations and groups have partnered with ASER. Some have participated for many years, others only for a year or two. Some have done ASER in a single district, while others have covered multiple districts. Partner institutions are gratefully acknowledged in each year's ASER report.

A wide variety of institutions partner with ASER: universities and colleges, non-government organizations, self-help groups, youth clubs, government departments, and private sector companies.
