CORE AREAS OF WORK

----------

ASER Centre activities are organized into three main areas of work:

  • Measure to understand:   Produce new evidence for action, including the design and facilitation of a national Annual Status of Education Report in addition to a range of other research and assessment projects. Individual studies and projects are described on the Research and Assessment page, and publications can be viewed or downloaded here.
  • Understand to communicate:   Design and conduct courses and workshops that aim to build the capacity of individuals and institutions to design, implement, and understand assessment in their own locations or fields of work. See the capacity building tab for an overview of ASER Centre capacity building activities.
  • Communicate to change:   Disseminate evidence to the widest possible audience and through a variety of media, in order to build awareness and catalyze action by communities, governments, and non government actors.

In addition to its own projects and activities, ASER Centre also offers its expertise in tools development, training, research and assessment to other institutions and organizations. Read ASER Centre's policy for engagement with other organizations
